LOVE YOUR HAMSTRINGS: Hamstring Strain, ACL Injury, and PFPS This is for anybody that likes a good story. This discussion will be educational and informative for those who do not already have a background in human anatomy, but will also provide interesting new viewpoints to a seasoned physical therapist, personal trainer, or any healthcare professional.  This piece will begin as a story but will progressively get more technical and based in biomechanics. I have included several common analogies and implemented a story-telling style to, again, ensure inclusive understanding by any audience. I also ask for research and biomechanics from the audience (especially where I insert “COMMENT BELOW”).  I am happy that I finally decided to put these thoughts into words and compile this 20-25 minute read, as it provides a great opportunity to shed light upon the many different mechanisms of injury, supportive research, and biomechanical analysis that surrounds the knee joint.
